Providing Valuable Healthcare
We support the MCUFDTMF hospital in its efforts to help provide medical care to indigent members of the communities that the medical students, medical residents, and the hospital serves as part of its foundation status.
Improving Medical Care & Education
We foster the improvement of medical care and education in the Philippines by programs to be carried out at or with the MCU medical school and hospital (MDUFDTMF-MCU Filemon D. Tanchoco Medical Foundation). This includes, but is not limited to the support of continuing education of faculty members in the College of Medicine by direct grants for educational programs, the carrying out of seminars and symposia and providing for the interchange of medical information.
Promoting & Upholding Medical Standards
We work to promote, maintain and uphold the standards of the medical professionals and the service to the patients given by such professionals in accordance with current trends in the field of medicine and surgery. This includes but not limited to the sharing of medical information among the alumni in the Philippines, as well as with allied and other medical professional groups in both countries.
